Use Onehub in Claude
Connect Onehub to Claude and ask in plain words: "which orders are unpaid this week?", "what's overdue on Mrs Tan's tickets?", "create an order for Mrs Tan". Claude works in Onehub as you, sees only what you can see, and asks you before it changes anything. Your own Claude plan pays for it.
Updated 2 November 2026.
Before you start
- You are an owner or admin of the Onehub organisation, and its AI module is on (Admin, Modules).
- Someone with organisation settings has opened Admin, Integrations, ChatGPT and Claude and pressed Switch on.
- You use Claude on claude.ai, or the Claude desktop or mobile app. On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organisation adds the connector first. Claude Code is not supported.
Connect Onehub to Claude
From Claude's connector directory:
- In Claude, open Settings, Connectors and browse the directory for Onehub.
- Press Connect. A Onehub page opens; sign in if asked.
- Pick the organisation, and Read only or Read and change, then press Allow. You go back to Claude.
Or add it by its address, as a custom connector:
- In Claude, open Settings, Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Onehub and enter
https://onehub.world/api/mcp. Leave the advanced settings empty. - Press Connect and continue as above.
In a chat, make sure Onehub is switched on in Claude's tools menu, then ask away. ChatGPT connects the same way: add a custom MCP server with the same address in ChatGPT in the browser.
What Claude can do
With either connection Claude can read:
| search | Find records by name, number, phone or email. |
| fetch | Open one record in full, as a document. |
| list_records | A filtered, sorted list of one record type, with the true total. |
| get_record | One record with what hangs off it. |
| summary | Counts and totals, grouped, for example revenue by month. |
| get_timeline | What happened on a record, in order. |
| needs_attention | What is overdue or waiting on someone. |
| describe_organisation | Record types, stages, people, fields and time slots. |
| describe_form | The fields a record's form takes, before creating one. |
| social_activity | Comments on your social posts, their results and best times to post. |
With Read and change it can also make changes. Claude asks you before each one, and Onehub checks it against the same rules as the screen: required fields, the duplicate-customer check, booking capacity.
| create_record | Create a lead, customer, ticket, order, quote or draft invoice. |
| update_record | Change fields on up to 15 records at once. |
| move_stage | Move leads, orders or tickets to another stage. |
| assign | Give a lead an owner or a ticket an assignee. |
| record_payment | Record a payment received against an order. |
| schedule_visit | Book or move a visit, within your time slots and capacity. |
| log_note | Add a note, or log a call or email with a customer. |
| invite_member | Invite someone to your organisation by email. |
| create_automation | Create an automation, saved switched off. |
| social_post | Write, plan, schedule or publish Facebook, Instagram and TikTok posts. |
| social_comment | Reply to, hide or delete a comment, or make a lead from it. |
It cannot delete anything, void or cancel orders, refund, merge customers, remove members, change billing, send anything to your customers, or change your organisation's settings.
Permissions and safety
- Claude works as you: it sees and changes only what your role allows, in the one organisation you picked.
- Every change shows on the record as yours, "via Claude", and in the organisation's audit log.
- A Read only connection cannot change anything, and Claude's sign-in works only through Onehub's connector address, never directly against Onehub's database.
- Text inside your records, such as a note or a web form answer, is data. If Claude ever proposes a change you did not ask for, decline it when Claude asks.
Remove a connection
- Your own: Settings, Sign-in and security, ChatGPT and Claude, Remove.
- Anyone's in your organisation (admins): Admin, Integrations, ChatGPT and Claude, Connections, Remove.
- Switching the organisation off stops every connection at once; switching it on again lets them work again.
Removing stops it at once. You can also remove Onehub in Claude under Settings, Connectors.
Privacy
When you ask Claude something, Claude calls Onehub, and Onehub sends back only the records that answer it and that you can see. What Claude does with them is covered by your agreement with Anthropic for your Claude account. Onehub does not receive your chats; it keeps a log of each request Claude makes (which tool, what it asked for, when, and the outcome) so your admins can see what was done. The details are in section 12 of our privacy policy.
If something goes wrong
Onehub's page says none of my organisations can connect
Either the organisation has not switched ChatGPT and Claude on (Admin, Integrations, ChatGPT and Claude), you are not an owner or admin there, or its AI module is off (Admin, Modules). The page says which.
Onehub's page says it connects only to ChatGPT and Claude
Another app asked to connect, for example Claude Code or a desktop tool. Only Claude on claude.ai, the Claude desktop and mobile apps, and ChatGPT in the browser can connect.
Claude asks me to connect again
Someone removed the connection, or an admin switched the organisation off and on. Connect again and choose the organisation.
Claude says the organisation has switched off ChatGPT and Claude
An admin switched it off under Admin, Integrations. Every connection stops until it is switched on again.
Can I connect two organisations?
A connection is for one organisation. To use another, remove the connection in Onehub and connect again, choosing the other one.
